Fried Brains and Colonic Irrigation

Fried Brains and Colonic Irrigation

Days just seem to get busier, and busier ………..

Do you ever get that feeling, when you get home from work, that your brain just feels hot?

It can’t just be me that has this feeling sometimes.

I felt like this last night.  I’d had such a busy day; filming a professional colonic video, that will soon be appearing on our new website, dashing over to the Accountants for some advice on a new business venture, doing some colonic treatments, then catching up with paper-work.

I’d also received 6 new colonic enquiries by 3pm!  I had to phone them back, and explain that I couldn’t fit them in, at least not for at least a fortnight. I do ensure that people enquiring and wanting to book a colonic with me, that I phone them back the same day, even if it is around 9pm that evening!

When, why and how did life get so busy ………… ? Well, I don’t really know to be honest with you.  It sort of gradually got busier and busier.

I’ve been in clinical practice for 23 years now, and when I started back in 1990, I wasn’t very busy.  I didn’t expect to be. I was the new kid on the block.  It took me 2 or 3 years to get myself a good physical therapy/physiotherapy practice going. A few years later, after a bit of a plumbing problem, (bowel department!) I was advised to have colonic hydrotherapy treatment.  Well the rest is just history. I had the treatment, it helped me so much, it was like an epiphany to me.  The light bulb was shining big and bright, and that inner voice (that we should all listen to) was saying “you must train in colonic hydrotherapy, and offer this wonderful treatment to all the tens of thousands of people out there suffering with bowel and digestive problems. It helped you. It can help them too”.

The rest is history. I trained in colonic hydrotherapy and split my working week, between physiotherapy and colonic hydrotherapy. However, it wasn’t too long before the colonics just took over, and now 5, sometimes 6 days a week, I’m carrying out 5 or 6 colonic hydrotherapy treatments every day on people who have some kind of functional bowel disease, AND I LOVE IT!!

I love the satisfaction of giving someone relief, from their painful dysfunctional bowel, using colonic hydrotherapy, whether it be Irritable Bowel Syndrome, constipation, bloating, diarrhoea, trapped gas or indigestion.

OK. I’m ending this blog here. I was only going to write a few lines, but I’ve gone on too long. Typical of me. Catch you all later.
